The Edina Trust Bulb Project
On Friday, 19th October, the P3-P7 classes enjoyed planting daffodil and crocus bulbs within the grounds of St Peter’s. These are located at the front door of our school beside the reception area. The Edina Trust Bulb Project works alongside the National Museum in Wales whereby pupils will record data including temperature, rainfall and plant heights over a period of 5 months. The data from this live science experiment will be collated alongside results from schools located all over England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland which ultimately contribute towards a long term ongoing climate change investigation. This is only the second year NI schools have been involved in the project and we were lucky to be chosen as one of only 19 in the whole of the province! Recordings begin on the 5th of November! We can’t wait 🙂🌧 🌡
