As part of our continued partnership with 'The Nerve Centre' in Derry we have been working hard on Working with Digital Audio and Sound this year. As such, we have been very lucky to have Nim and his colleagues come into school to provide training to staff and work with the children. We decided with the 50th Anniversary to have an end-goal of producing several episodes for a school podcast.
Episode 1 - A St. Patrick's Special has been live on Spotify for several weeks now and today we are scheduling the release of Episode 2 - Signs of Spring for 3pm. Episode 2 heavily involves the P1-2 children as they recite their own poems and a class poem together. Episode 3 is ready to release, but we will wait a week or so to give P1-2 their moment to shine. For anyone with Spotify we would invite you to have a listen to the children and enjoy their hard work.
