We pride ourselves in empowering children to become leaders and take on responsibilities. This was clearly evident in the content and the delivery of the speeches delivered today. We are very proud of you all and the areas covered were absolutely brilliant - litter picking, weather stations, prizes of bulbs and seeds, indoor plants, themed swap shop days to name a few. All top classideas and Miss Mc Cullagh will explore these ideas at the eco school council meetings as this year we apply again to renew our Green Flag. The eco council will be very busy but we are so fortunate to have Annie as an Eco Ambassador. Though Ed today was a great addition!
It was wonderful that the children were able to deliver their speeches on the Feast of St Francis who is a known for his love of creation, nature and animals.
