The children in Yr 3 - 7 all participated in a coding workshop today from Ciarán, who works at the Amma Centre. The children used block-based coding and entered codes on the iPads in order to create a beating heart and their names. This involved a lot of discussion and many children were very creative. Primary 7 were used to these micro:BIT’s as we applied for a school set and used them in UKS2 in term three last year. It was a great learning experience, particularly for our KS1 children.
