P1-2 - Mrs Hegarty
Welcome to Foundation Stage. Our teacher is Mrs Hegarty and our classroom assistant is Mrs Hamilton.
We aim to make the transition from home to school an easy one. Our objective is to enable each child to develop emotionally, socially, physically and academically in a relaxed environment.
We begin every day with a settling in time which enables us to interact with each other and talk about how we feel.
Most of our learning is done through indoor and outdoor play. We have a well-equipped play area with trikes, tractors, a mud kitchen, sand pit, climbing frames and a house. Indoors we use smaller equipment that requires the children to use their fine motor skills help us with our Literacy and Numeracy.
